Yes, cameras are permitted during this event. We ask that you be sensitive to the nature of the event and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001 as well. This event is primarily to support the families of those lost, many of which are in attendance at the Annual Vigil.

Please bring a candle, American Flag, chair or blanket. The Vigil will go for about two hours this year, so you will want to be comfortable. If you would like to set up blanket and chairs early, we suggest arriving as early as 6:00pm as this year’s 10th Annual Vigil will attract a large crowd.

Absolutely not. The annual Candlelight Vigil has been and will always be made possible through support of our community and our public officials. There is no charge for this event. If you would like to donate toward the expenses that make this event possible each year, please visit our Donations Page. You are able to make a donation in any amount or a fixed donation which will allow you to have an ad on our web site.

Althought in previous years, our Vigil began at 7:30pm, we will begin this year’s Vigil at 7pm. We ask that you arrive early to secure a spot on the lawn. The Vigil can range from a few hundred to a few thousand.

We ask that you share the news about this memorable Vigil with your friends in any way that you see fit. It would be nice to have them join our Facebook Page. Another way would be to give them the address of our web site. Please click on the “share” button below and you will be able to send your friends a link to this web site.

We will continue the annual Candlelight Vigils as long as our communty comes out for them. We are blessed to have such a supportive community. This event is put on each year by volunteers who have families, full-time jobs and many commitments, so we do encourage you to volunteer as little or as much time as you can to help make each year’s event a success. Volunteers will be listed on the home page of our site as a way to recognize those that have contributed to the success of the event.

We have setup a Guestbook page for everyone to share their thoughts, memories and to send a note to a loved one lost on the tragic day.

All donations go towards the Plaque (Memorial), the garden and design of the Memorial Garden, to administratve costs of fund raising and for expenses of the Vigil itself. No one on our Committee is paid. This Committee run strictly on a volunteer basis.

You can donate as little as $5.00 or as much as you or your organization feel comfortable giving. There are severl Donation Levels outlined for those who which to reserve advertising space on our home page, sub pages of our web site or to send in a booster in memory of a loved one on our Booster page. We appreciate your donations and will be sure to let you know exactly how the donations have been used.

Please visit our Donations Page and complete the information on that page. You are able to pay securely through Paypal and will receive an email receipt from paypal. Please keep that email for your records as this is a tax-deductible donation. If you require a manual receipt, please let us know and we would be happy to send one to your home address.

We are looking for volunteers to help with several areas of preparation for this Vigil.
